Bengaluru

Would there be a day when people would stop swearing by Bangalore due to all the increased cost, pollution, rape, cramped space, roads etc etc??? I don't think so..
Take mumbai for example...it's the centre for underworld, murders, smuggling, rape (second to Delhi) but people never stop swearing by Mumbai. It's the same with Bangalore. It's a loved city.
Lately there has been many debates about Bangalore not being the same city, green, pristine, retirees haven and whatnot. But come-on, everything comes with a price. The developement, standard of living, oppurtunities, malls, entertainment, pubs, (freakin costly) restraunts have all improved over the years but with a price. The problem is the development/improvements are slower than the growth but we will get there. This is why we are called a 'developing nation' and not 'developed'. I believe things will improve, if not immediate surely in near future.
Irrespective of what has happened to Bangalore I still like it for the pubs (first and foremost), cool chic babes, multicultural people, weather (not good as before but it's a global phenomena), cool evenings, multicuisine, the amazing feeling of belonging when you visit the city.
The place rocks!
